low boost

i have a 91 9000 cd with a 2.3l turbo the car is very under powered and is not showing much boost on the gage any help i n solving problem i great

Are you sure you don't have a boost leak? Any whistling noises under the hood?

COuld be a few things. 1: your DV is worn and is venting. Or your wastegate could be stuck open...I would check the DV first. Do you have an underhood shot by any chance?

well i found the problem it is that my turbo is bad the impellers do not move at all what i need to know now is what causes this

damn...good thing these turbos are fairly common. Is there shaft play? It could be just oil cooked in there somewhere...can you move it with your finger?
