Manual Shifter Problem 06 9-3
 

My 2006 9-3 5 speed is having problems shifting into 1st and 5th mostly. 3rd sometimes acts up but only when it is really cold outside. When putting it into first I have to really push the shifter and sometimes get the grind if it doesn't seat. 5th is the same way, push like hell and slowly let the clutch out to see if it's in. It definitely is harder during the cold weather. I have browsed the forums to find out if there is any adjustment, but I can only find adjustments for the older Saabs. I usually fix my own vehicles and when I looked at the linkage at the trans and the shifter I did not see any clear way to make adjustments. I bought the car used about 4 months ago and the previous owner said the clutch was replaced "not too long ago." How should I go about diagnosing and/or fixing this.
