My first Saab, 1993 9000 CSE... for free with issues
 

2.3L turbo, 239,000 miles, automatic... pretty good looking too. Friend of mine gave it to me because it was broken into a few nights ago. No broken glass, just a torn apart dash. It runs under idle. The known problems to this Saab are 2 things... the low idle and that it doesn't move hardly at all in gear. It only has reverse. I put it in drive and I can feel the rpm drop a hair but I push the gas ever so slightly, and all I get is a few inches in 10 seconds. Reverse isn't an issue at all. Thats fine. All input is greatly appreciated.

it sounds like the tranny is in need of a rebuild.

try puttin it in 1 ,2 or 3 and let me know if it moves at all. it maybe that all you need is a flush or cable adjustment but let me know and i may be able to help
