I just bought a set of viggen rims that need to be painted badly.. The guy i bought them from has one powder coated and the other three need to get sand blasted and i guess powder coated unless i can do somthin else without spending a lot of money. Would the rims look different if one is powder coated and the others i did on my own. Also i was wondering if anyone has a How too theard with pictures or somthin that can help me.

 

powdercoat and paint WILL look differently. If you want them to look the same you'd want to strip all 4 and paint them as a set. Word of caution - most shops can't mount wheels on painted/powdercoated wheels without damaging the finish on the lip. This will not be visible after the tire is mounted, but in the long run it will make the finish peel (don't even ask how I know).
