Window Issues

I have a Saab 93 2002 Hatch Back. I was driving down the road the other day with the radio on and noticed a draft in my car. I thought my dog pushed the window down button but when I tried to roll it back up it did not move. Here is where I am at with it... the motor runs, the window can be pulled up, pushed down, move side to side but will not stay up without duct tape. Any ideas what parts I need if any or if it is easy to fix this problemon my own? Thanks!:)

RE: Window Issues

Take the door panel off. It's either a plastic pard that attaches to the window or those little green plastic rollers. If it's the window plastic part than unfortunately you have to replace the whole regulator assembly as those are not sold separately.

Three places here told me i needed a new regulator today. I was like. NOOO!!!! i dont have $450.00.

what happened: last night I pushed the button down on the driver side. I heard a squeak then a loud snap. I looked at the window and the front of it was sinking like a ship while the rear of it was sitting still.

today after going to three different places i said. oh well. time ta do what Ive always done. (do it myself) took off the door panel. {supprising how easy it was compared to my other cars} and saw a green looking wheel thing or clip. it was broken. i suppose thats what I heard snap. the moor was working fine.

I put the window back together after getting the window up. now i need to buy the green things. does anyone know what the green things are called. would it be correct calling it a track roller??? i think i only saw one that was broken. it didnt look to hard to install, but it could be tricky
