First time Saab owner questions
 

So I purchased a 1999 9-3 convertible turbo with 160,450 miles on it. The convertible top won't go down an info on dash says "check soft top storage" an when I do there's NOTHING in it or holding it up. I've only had car for a couple days an I'm ALREADYYY a customer for life. But I am frustrated about the top. I'm a single dad an don't EXACTLY have alot of extra funds to spend a ton on repairing the top. Seems like every other year made you can manually retract up an down Except this model. Which is fine. But what is the most inexpensive way or easiest to fix this issue. Plz help I can't seem to figure it out an would really love to put top up an down for the kids. Also if there is anything anyone has to say that's good, bad, advice anything at all would be most appreciated. Thank you
