Haveing a slight problem with my 1988 900 turbo!! I had some ignitiom problems and replaced the i.c.u and that solved that but I still have a bad stuttering ans poping!! Could my turbo be acting up or is a another fuel/ignitio problem??

 

do you have a boost gauge? does it use alot of oil?

 

Sputtering and popping normaly has nothing to do with your turbo.
I think you migt have a DI cassette problem or simply bad (wet / old / warn) sparkplugs.
I would start looking there.

 

It should be a simple problem. Nothing a servicing of the vehicle that cant help.
