First Time Owner Maintenance Q?
First time owner, I just bought a 2005 Saab 9-3 Arc 2.0T
I love the feel of the car and everything about it. Obviously with the year model its used, and one thing I have noticed is an odd sound when I am driving slow on bumpy pavement. Kind of like my shocks/struts are going out. I'm not sure if this is a habitual issue or of I'm completely wrong. I am wondering if a repair like this is a DIY project. Looking online I can get the parts for roughly $400. And probably save just as much installing them myself. Does anyone have experience in this problem or the repair of it? The sound can be best described as a worn on hydraulic or spring.. It just sounds like something is knocking when I hit a speed bump or turn sharply. However I never hear it on the highway. Thanks in advance, ZT |
