Default High pitch noise

Hi Guys
I have an 9-3 Convertilbe Areo, when I drive over 70mph I get an high pitch noise coming from the front. The wired thing is it does not happen when it is raining, which suggests water fills the problems area and then when it drys out the noise returns. It is driving me crazy can anyone help.[>:]

Default RE: High pitch noise

It's wind noise! a certain part of your car is acting like a whistle and whenever it rains, the water changes the physical caracteristics of it and it can't produce the same noise!!! It's gona be real hard to find. Just try to isolate more precisely on the car where it is and look around that area to see if ther's any loose or foreing objects. If there are, it's just a matter of changing it or removing it if it doesn't belong there and the noise should be gone. For all we know it could be a leaf lodged somewhere in the front/grill/foglite area....

Good luck!!
