RUN IN THE MTNS THIS WEEKEND
SAAB OWNERS IN UPSTATE SC & FOOTHILLS NC INTERESTED IN MAKING A MTN RUN?
Meet at The Purple Onion in downtown Saluda, NC tomorrow at noon for lunch and join in for a 100-mile cruise on some down-and-out awesome grade, non-guardrail roads in the Carolinas on our way to Dillsboro. If you are interested in staying the night in Dillsboro, check out the Holiday Inn Express (ask for the SAAB Mtn Rate) and then take on the blistering 318 curve, 11-mile Tail of the Dragon and stick around for the Mile-High Legend, Cherohala Skyway outside of Tellico Plains, TN.
Not a performance run but you'll need to know and understand the limits of your car and your driving skill. Good weather and awesome foilage so bring a camera and FRS radio is you have it.
