9-3 Front Amplifier Fuse, F25
 

My car (2006 9-3 2.0T) won't set more than a day before the battery is dead, this is with the theft alarm disabled. With ignition in OFF, I am seeing .33 amps in this fuse socket. Seems too high to me. What does this fuse supply?

Looking further, this appears to be for the Bose front speaker audio amp. I looked for where service manual says it should be, (rear of driver's side wheel well, I see only the bracket on the floor, no AMP. I removed F25, no codes or warnings, audio system works as before.


This is a base 9-3, is it supposed to have this AMP?


Also, this car has not had any audio out of the front door speakers (both sides) since I purchased in Sept 2014.


Am I on to something?


For now, I am leaving this F25 OUT.

FYI, I also found no unterminated electrical connectors in the area of the amplifier.
