I have an extra DIC, version 3.4. Its been tested with no CELS. Came off of a 20K mile car. (2002 93)

(It will even work on 99-00 9-3's cars, I found that out the other day.)

It does work with the red cassette cars, but only as a bandaid. A black cassette in place of a red one = no knock detection.
