2001 9-3 Hatchback
 

I just got my first car ever! (that I'm actually making the payments on). Its a 2001 9-3 Hatchback with the 2.0 turbo and 5 speed manual. I test drove it and absolutely loved it. I got what I think is a great deal.

After the dealer checking into a squeaking noise we heard it was discovered that the clutch on the A/C was bad, the dealer knocked a lot off the price, and hooked us up with the company they use and got us a good price to get the compressor and clutch changed. Since that time, I haven't heard a single squeak, but I have recently noticed a clicking sound in its place, that comes from the same area. Is it possible since the car sat for a while on the lot (two weeks by their account) that its the same issue just making a different noise for some reason? The car behaves the same and the performance is great, but when I sit I notice the noise. The compressor & clutch are getting replaced as soon as the shop gets the parts. Should that clear everything up?

I also have a check engine light that wasn't on when we first test drove the car, turned on during the second test drive, turned off after we asked the dealer to reset the thing (its a mazda dealer so I don't know if they did the right thing), and then has been on shortly after. How can I clear the system and get the light to go off again?
