2008 9-3 "Intro Edition"?
 

Hi, I'm once again thinking of buying a 9-3. Sold my '03 Arc recently and miss it too much. Am looking at an '08 "Intro Edition". Can't find anything anywhere about this particular trim level name. It has xenon, nav, leather, no sunroof, 5-spd manual. Does anyone know what this trim level equals?
Also, I am trying to find the original window sticker through a bunch of different vindecoders and although some of them find the VIN and give me basic info, I cannot find all the options as originally shipped. Someone once gave me a link to a vindecoder with a Portuguese URL, does anyone here know what is?

Hi, I hope someone can answer these 2 questions for me. I just picked up my new (to me, obviously) 2008 1.8t 9-3 Linear (well they call it “Intro” here) from a Saab dealer.

Two things:
1. Is there a way to make the car alarm “chirp” when you use the fobs to remote lock/unlock the doors? That was always one of my favorite things about Saabs, it always made you know that you had one.
2. The instrument cluster, except for the info display (km, temp, DTE, etc.) do not light up in green, same with console (radio,, climate controls, etc.). I was driving in very bright sunlight, but even if I press the + button above the Night Panel button, nothing changes. Is this normal, i.e. will I not see the green lights unless it’s dark ? I tried pressing the Night Panel a couple of times but that did not change anything.
