Hello all, I’m Tom and I have a completely sorted and serviced 2009 Saab 9-3 TTid Aero that I bought 5 months ago from Saab farm or Hagstrom which ever they are this week.

4 months in the crank pulley let stopping the car from charging. So it’s been off the road while the work was completed.

Work completed:
All intercooler hoses replaced with do88, we had one split which seems to be when the trouble started
Inlet manifold replaced, with a brand new one, most of the swirl flaps were missing
Crank pulley changed
Timing belt replaced because when the cover was taken off the belt was slack because the tensioner had failed.
All tensioners and pulleys replaced
Air filter changed, the one removed had a manufactured date of 2015
Oil changed to 0w-40
Downpipe changed it had a split in the flexi

Car runs pretty sweet and sounds a lot better, but still isn’t right. It’s smokes like a train in the higher revs, and I notice in a low gear foot flat to the floor the turbo gauge switches between the two turbos. I’d also say it’s down on power. There are currently no codes thrown up.

If anyone recognises what’s going on with it I’d be very greatful!
