Default Access to trunk if battery dead?

This may be a dumb question, but I was wondering how one can open the trunk of a 9-3 sedan if the battery is completly dead. A salesman seemed unable to do this when I was looking around at a dealer several days ago.

if the battery is completely dead... there is a way to open the trunk from the inside. it involves putting the rear seat down. in the middle under the back window theres an emergency rear seat release. lower the seat, and then pull emergency trunk release on the top of the trunk door. hope this helped.

ohh yea your right titan theres that glow in the dark release lever on lid of trunk that releases it...if your battery dies in a 93 my style you have to do something never been done before..pull the metal key out of your lil plastic car starter and use it to actually unlock your car!
