air bag

hi i have a 2003 9-3 arc and just today i started getting a msg saying air bag malfunction contact saab dealer......any one have any tips on what it might be

Unfortunately SRS systems are a pain. You might have no choice but to contact the dealer.

i know it sucks and have to pay then a couple of hundreds and i hate those f*@#ks at my local dealer....

ask them to see the Tech2 output with your own eyes...make sure they don't lie to you.

hey roto *** soon as i took it in when i turned the car on so they can scan it the sid msg went away....(i think my car is afraid of the mechanics)is that normal...
