Annoying
 

Hey everyone, i've got a '01 9-3 2dr. and it has those wipers on the headlights. I have them turned off but for some reason every time i turn the the key and turn the battery on the left headlight wiper moves slightly and then stops in vertical position. This is very annoying because my car must look ridiculous driving around with one in it's proper down position, and one sticking straight up. My question is, is there a way i simply disconnect the wipers when they are both down without disconnecting the headlights too? I never use them and just want them to stay down for good. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

They have separate connectors for them. You can find those under the headlights and disconnect them. You can also disassemble the wiper motor and clean it so it parks normally if you're adventurous.
