I am working on a project, and I have a blower motor casing from an old Saab. Does anyone know what the white lines in on the back of the casing are? They feel like a type of rubber, and I am assuming it is to dampen vibrations caused by the motor, so the mounting screws don't come loose. If someone could tell me, that'd be great. Thanks!
