Flickering: Having trouble with aftermarket HID fog light!
 

Hi there, I installed some HID fog light for my Saab 93 Aero V6T 2007 and, I have problem with flickering light.

At first I tought it was a ballast problem (I had slim ballast and I eard that there were compatibility issues between these and some euro car). So, after cheking ALL connections, ground and everything, the problem was persistent.

I then bought two brand new ballast, this time the fat form factor ones. Installed, going thru all the connections again to make shure everything was good and... flickering still there.http://saabforum.org/saab-forum/images/smilies/mad.gif

Just don't know what to do. I seen on saab central forum something about putting some electric tape on the contact of a relay but, as I don't want to screw up the thing... well you know!

If anyone has an idea of what the problem is... plz!

P.S. Just so you know, I installed three of the same HID kits on a 93 saab 2005 this summer. My friend wanted Hi, Lo and Fog. Everything fine, no flickering problem at all..... I'm in a real mist right now!
