Fuel gauge needle moves up and down after filling up
 

Hi,
Anyone have these problems? 2001 Saab 93 112,000 miles. Last three or four years SOMETIMES when I fill up the fuel gauge needle goes from F to E (and the out of gas light comes on) while driving for about 20 minutes and then it finally settles to F. If I depress the fuel calculator on the SID it sometimes shows accurate miles left for fuel but sometimes goes to ----.
Recently, the car started with the common turning over but does not catch when hot but after 20-30 minutes acts fine syndrome. Does anyone think that these symptoms are related? Otherwise love the car but hate being worried about getting stuck somewhere.

i am having a similar problem with the gas gauge, u find a solution??
