Default Help or hints Power window problem

Hi - I have a 2006 Saab 93 Convertible. I have a problem with the front drivers side window. When I push the power button to make the window go up - it goes half way them back down again on it's own. Has anyone else had problems with the windows not going up and staying up ? Sometimes it can take 10 minutes of pushing the button to get the window to go all the way up and stay closed. If you have had this problem - what was the solution - Thanks

Sorry, but you're going to have to open it up and see what broke. There are little plastic wheels in there that are available as a replacement that break often, but what you're describing doesn't sound like that's it. You may have an actual bad window regulator that's got stripped/partially stripped gear teeth.

Thanks again - the problem is actually with the mounting of the outside mirror. The bracket on the mirror some how broke - so when the top was down the mirror fell just enough to block the window from going up - I have ordered a new mirror housing kit - and hope to have it fixed this week.
