My convertible top started to malfunction and progressively got worse and worse. I took it to the dealer (I bought it used) and he said that the frame is slightly bent and i need to have the entire top replaced! Then he said it is not covered by my warranty and that I would be best to go through my insurance company, something I do not want to do (why raise my rates for a convertible top?). Called some convertible "specialists" and was informed that they cannot work on Saab tops because Saab does not release the specs to the public. I live in southern California, does anybody have any ideas of what I can do?
