HUB REPLACED now questions! (Follow up to dashboard craziness)

OK so BEFORE I replaced the hub, the sensor would trigger and all the lights would go on and the speedo would stop working, then they whould go off intermittently and the speedo would start working again.

Ok so tonight I replaced the left rear hub, took a road test it still sounds like I am getting niose back there but not as bad... BUT more importantly this is how the road test went:

I start the car, ALL lights still on, warning chime goes off....I think "Sh*t I fixed nothing."

The I drive around near my neighborhood listening for the "whu whu whu" sounf...it is definitely nowhere near as bad but still seems audible...I think Hmmm maybe time for the right one too.....

Then I notice ALL lights except engine light are OFF again and speedo is working.

I think "OK either it IS reset and fixed...OR it is just going off and on again just like before."

I shut off car in driveway, start it again no lights go on....shut it off, start it again, no lights (except engine light of course, which needs to be reset...) so I wonder is it fixed or are those stupid lights going to go on again tomorrow.

So the question is should those lights have STAYED off the very second I started it the first time after the repair? Or does it make senes that it took a short drive for them to reset?

if you haven't pulled the battery than it's possible that they stayed on for a bit. The sound you're hearing could be your tire you know.
