I have a 200493 and I am very excited about the turbo. It is 99% of the reason I got the car. I have installed a very handsome B&B Cold Air Intake and besides just getting a great sound it has also enabled my Turbo to spool up much faster. I want to increase my Boost PSI. What can I do to make this happen? I was looking at BOV and doing my research and I have to be honest that I am not sure how to mover forward.

I don't believe that you can use a BOV on your car since I think it has a MAF sensor...next thing to look into is a larger downpipe and exhaust, that will decrease spool-up time too.

 

What is a down pipe? Also, what exhaust is recommended? I would not know where to begin to look as I am not an expert on exhaust. If the BOV will not work then what could I install to increase boost PSI? My car has a Mass Air Sensor and I think that is diffrent from a MAF. The short of it is I am looking for more HP and I do not want to play with the cars engine too much. Increased boost PSI would satisfy my needs. If it is 15PSI stock I would like to get it to 20PSI. Something must be limiting the turbo's PSI potential.

mass airsensor is a MAF. A BOV wouldn't have increased boost. All it would do is give you the soundeffectsCheck your private messages.

 

the BOV will work...i have a 03 93 and i had a BOV professionally installed and I havnt had a problem with it yet...no "limp mode" and no "check engine" light and my accel. is the same as it was...

 

im definitely interested in what you may have recommended
