Default New Exhaust and Kitty !

Well, it's come to my attention that my exhaust and cat will need replacing soon. After seeing the prices for the stock kit, I was a bit overwhelmed.

Is there another option, prefereably cheaper , to swap out my cat and exhaust with some aftermarket ones ? I'm not sure where to look, as this is my first time looking into an aftermarket exhaust, ect..

And would it have to be FOR my 9-3, or could I mod another exhaust (like a DC) to fit ?

BTW, it's for a 99' 9-3 SE 2.0 Turbo Convertible.

Thanks guys, all help is appreciated !

Go to genuinesaab.com and look for exhaust. Also you can have a custom one made for around $400...

I saw the ones on there, I just thought if I bought some other aftermarket performance exhausts, and modded them to fit, it might be a little cheaper.

Don't try to modify something....just buy a muffler of your choice and have a local muffler shop handle the rest...it'll be cheaper.

With labor and parts it should be no more than 250-300, and its done, and has a warranty. I recommend a midas.
My parts for custom exhaust was only about 145 bucks, with flex pipe, some straight pipe, and a flowmaster 40 series.
sounds nice too.
