Reverse lights operate, but Warning states left side is blown

Reverse lights operate, but Warning states left side is blown
I have a 2008 Linear convertible 1.9 TiD. Dash warning on start up states that left side reverse light is out. Have changed out the lamps but error message remains. Has anyone had this problem? I checked and wasn't able to locate anything on the forum.
