Stability control failure, abs malfunction & traction control failure

Hi,
I'm new to here but I'm looking for some help.
I have an 2005 Saab 93 Vector Sport 1.9 tdi
About a month ago I got a fault showing "stability control failure", this fault would go away for the next journey then show up again and so on....
Then last week it has been staying on all the time, but yesterday "abs malfuntion" & " traction control failure" came up.
Now I'm getting worried!!!
Can anyone shed any light on these faults for me before I go to the expensive dealer at this time of year!!

Thanks in advance

Alan

Similar problem...

hey guys, been dealing with the same issue for over a month now. I would disconnect the negative battery cable and reset the computer, hoping for the short to go away, but it's only progressively gotten worse! I took it in to my local Saab and they ran the diagnostic as well as taking it for a test drive. The main pop up for the diagnostic was a new throttle body, and that's the route we're taking to try to fix this issue.

Hello. Can anyone cast some light on the following: while driving on the motorway in heavy rain earlier this year, the Stability control failure lit up and the car simply stopped - very unnerving. The engine continued to run but without acceleration. I was towed away and 30 mins later all resumed. This happened again in similar circumstances recently although I was off the motorway by this time. Very scary. Is this a throttle issue? What has the rain to do with it?
