Trouble Starting

I have a 2000 Viggen w/ 115,000 miles. I have only had it for the last 5,000. I have been using 92 octane fuel and sythetic oil. However...

When the car is low on fuel it has a trouble starting, it also doesn't start well in cold weather. Is this a common problem? Are there any remedies for these issues? It seems as though the car is too young for these issues. My 1991 Toyota doesn't even have these problems...

In addition I was wondering if anyone had opinions on the best upgrades to make early on.

Thanks Guys!

RE: Trouble Starting

The fuel pump is known to go bad once in 100K miles....describe "has trouble starting"...will it crank and not start, will it just take longer to start, will it not crank?
