Out of nowhere, my turbo began whistling upon acceleration and then the engine shuts off. Turned it on a couple of times to be able to get to a parking spot, but it kept dying on me and it has a bad somewhat burnt smell in the engine bay.

Several weeks back I had a clutch kit replacement and am hoping maybe related to that with possible hose crack/falling off, etc. I haven't had a chance to go look at it, but any ideas on the cause?
