Turning Radius on 9-3's

I have been considering purchasing a pre-owned 2004 9-3 Aero sedan. In looking at the specs all sources I find list it as 35.4 feet, which seems pretty good.
What is puzzling to me is that while this seems to be the same for all models through 2006; the 2007 and 2008 models are all listed as having a turning circle of 39 feet! While I can see where the newer Aeros with the V6 might be a little worse, this is seems like an awfully big difference and is also the listed spec for the 2.0T models (even on the SAAB site).

Are these disparate figures really accurate? I am used to a 34.7 foot on my daily driver and I'd hate to lose that much if the current spec applies to the older 2,0T as well.

RE: Turning Radius on 9-3's

I can't compare to past 9-3's, but I noticed right away thatmy 2008 9-3 Aero had a poor turning radius in comparison with my last two cars. Took delivery three weeks ago and several times alreadyhave had to reverseon what had always been a routine parking turn. The Aero just couldn't cut it.

Other than that, though, it's been a joy.
