2000 9-5 Manual
 

Hey guys, I'm new to the site, and I am a Volvo and Saab fan as well. I have had a few volvos, but im ready to make the switch to saab. Im looking at a 2000 9-5, manual trans. The car has 85,000 miles and is in really good shape, but knowing next to nothing about saabs, I was curious about the engines sizes and which ones were naturally aspirated or not. The description of the car says that it is a for cylinder, but does not mention turbo, and there is no turbo gage. I didnt think that there was a four cylinder without a turbo, but I could be wrong. Anyone know which engines have turbos? Thanks.

If I am not mistaking there have been both 4 cyl turbo and not and same goes for V6's. If there's no boost gauge on the cluster than it's probably N/A. If the engines are the same accross the linup you're probably looking at a 2.3L N/A T7 engine.

I have a 2000 9-5 and it does not have a boost gauge but it still has a turbo it is the b235 engine that is the 2.3 turbo

Automatic by any chance? I am still a little confused by when 9-5s have boost gauges.
