Hi
New to all this got an 04 wagon 2.3 check engine comes on and off went to auto zone had code read they said miss fire.
I am assuming coils any help would be great.
From what I am seeing it would be a coil pack.
If any one has a good one let me know.

 

What kind of gas are you using? Before you jump onto replacing expensive parts I'd change the spark plugs. Don't go fancy, go for stock NGKs with a proper gap. The car depends on plugs for knock detection.

 

Thanks since the last post I did that and at the same time I noticed the coil pack has a crack in the plastic it there away to test it or is is it just done.

 

Well, if it's cracked than the grease most likely leaked out...than yea - it'd need replacement.
