99' Saab 9-5 hesitation issue
Well...Hello everyone. I am new to the Saab world. Always wanted one when I was a kid and now I finally dove into it. I do have a question concerning my recent purchase of a 1999 9-5 4-cylinder turbo. I bought it since I needed a mid-size car that could carry my wife and two boys. With gas costing what it does, my diesel SUV wasn't cutting it.
So far I am happy with the car. It's an aoutomatic with 93,000 miles on it. Everything seems to be in great shape. Drives fine other than one issue I am having. I have noticed that when I come to an abrupt stop the car almost comes to a stall. It doesn't stall, but feels as if it is going to. It also seems to do this when the climate control is on and I shift from park to drive. It's like as if the battery is being drained. The car starts up fine and never losses charge. I have a OBD-II tester and will try that this weekend to see if any codes come up. Who knows. I just thought that I would throw this out there and see if anyone has gone through this before and might save me some time. Thanks for the help! |

153 and climbing!!!
Well...I guess nobody has a thought. I just had a new problem yesterday. Car won't go into reverse now. Just drive. Transmission light and check engine light are on. Towed it to a transmission shop. Time to get this crap from Sweden out of my life. Too bad that a car that looks this good is not worth much. |
