Default Audio/Cassette Adapter problems

Hello,

I recently purchased a 9-5 Wagon and I've been trying to find a cassette adapter that works well with the factory stereo to use my ipod.
I've tried about 8 different brands with no luck... all speakers work and sound good with the radio on but when I use the cassette adapter I get one of two results

1.crystal clear sound out of only one channel (right only with the Sony,Belkin,Phillips, various others)
2. balanced (right/left) sound that is extremely muddy and distorted

I've used these adapters for years in my Volvo and various other vehicles with no problems so I would greatly appreciate any advice

Thanks

Default RE: Audio/Cassette Adapter problems

Have you tried the iPod cradle that uses FM transmission?

It basically plugs into the iPod and transmits it like a radio station, and you just tune your FM radio into the right frequency and it will be the same as listening to a radio station.
