Default code question

my engine light keeps coming on, stays on a few hours then goes off. sometimes it comes on a day of two then goes off. i went to Autozone, Advanced and they showed code p1334 and said its an ignition failure . i also read online someplace that saab had a recall on the DI Cassette.

How do i find out if my 95 2001 year has already been serviced for this recall? I just got it a few months ago. and also just incase its already been serviced, were can I get another DI cassette besides the dealership??

www.eeuroparts.com or the junkyards, or ebay for another cassette. Genuinesaab.com also has them, but I don't think they're the cheapest. The only way to find out if it has been serviced or not is to ask the dealership to pull up the service record.

Black was designed fro Trionic 7 and red for Trionic 5. You need to have the proper cassette, even though a black will work on a red (but not the other way around). If you run a T7 on a T5 you will ahve no knock detection...

You can easily tell...if you have a MAF - T7, if it's a MAP - T5. You have T7.
