engine justs ticks when trying to start
 

Hi just got a car off ebay. when i turn the key I just hear a fast ticking /clicking noise and the dash lights dim. battery seems ok as lights etc work. car was at a mechanics who may have disconnected battery? dont know. would battery be low or has it something to do with immobiliser. unlocked car with fob. help
