my stereo in my 2000 9-5 isnt working..and i found out that my factory amp is fried
any one have a spare that they are willing to sell?? ive looked around at junk yards and there are no saabs what so ever. and if i cant get a factory one.....would an aftermarket amp work??

try giving goldwing saab a call. They're a junkyard that specializes in saabs.

so i got the amp..and it looks like its pretty simple to install..
its located under the seat right??

where did you end up getting it at? As far as I'm aware it's under the seat. DON'T turn the ignition on with the seat disconnected from the car. Just trust me on that one.

my girlfriend got it for me for my bday from a company called none other than " saab salvage parts" the company works out of maine...
cost her about 115 with shipping

haha i wont do that then what happens if you do turn the ignition on with a seat?

Well...your SRS light will go on...since you have air bags in the seat. It won't go off for a while too.

An important question, regarding removing the seat then turning on the ignition. My father had to fix his ignition, therefore had to take out the seat to do so. Unfortunately he didn't know not to unplug the seat then turn the ignition on. Does anyone know how to fix the warning? Will the airbags still work in that seat?
