Default Going to buy a NEW SID

Im getting ready to order a New Sid, But before I do. I called a shop that sells and installs them. (i can install my self) but they said it needs to be programmed for my car. before I spend this money there asking for. Is there a way I can program The New SID myself?

I have a 2001 9-5 Aero. I tried the repair thing with no avail more than a few times. (Mine has been disabled with b4 I did it). looks like the strips are stripped.

If it needs to be married to the car than you can't do it without a Tech2...
