lost the only copy key and remote to a 2000 aero 9-5 turbo wagon. what r my options other than paying over $1,000 bucks for a twice unit? any help would be appreciated!

 

did you lock it with a key or with a remote?

 

thanks for replying roto; the car was down for maintenance, bad water pump, the doors are unlocked and no alarm was ever set. received a call yesterday from a guy in oregon, he has an ad on ebay, says for $600 send him the twice unit and he'll reflash the unit and cut me two keys, no remote, but if i buy the remotes from ebay he would program them as long as they weren't locked. what do u think? anybody else have a say or suggestion?

 

Did you talk to a dealer? If the alarm was never set there's a chance that the dealer might help for less than 600.

 

I have a 2007 9 3. Need an additional key/remote just in case. NO key shop in my city can do this even with the blank I have.
What are my options? Thanks.
