Transmission issues
 

I have a 1999 9-5 V-6 auto. My problem is that the car drives great on startup, once it gets hot and about after 10-15 min it gets very sluggish and then the check gearbox light comes on. Then after a while it will just stop completely. It wont select any gear at all and it refuses to move. Once the car cools down and all the fluids become cold, it works as normal. I was told its the trans, I got a used trans from a local junk yard and the SAME EXACT problem. now im guessing it isnt the trans and might be a transmission computer, any ideas?

have you had any luck on figuring out problem? brad in il.
