Upgrade or downgrade: 2008 9-3 SS to 2011 9-5 NG TiD
Dilemma! I have a 2008 9-3 SS 5-spd black/balck, all features except leather seats and sunroof, otherwise everything is there and brilliant. 257,000k (after 15 years). No rust, no accidents, body, interior in immaculate condition.
Am thinkint I'd like a newer one, though, so I've found a 2011 9-5 NG Vector TiD2.0 (4cyl 160bhp), Nordic Ice Blue, black leather interior. Has mostly everything, incld. HUD, CD/NAV, auto transmission, full navigation, etc. Seems to be in good shape from what I've seen so far.
The 9-3 has 257,000 km.
The 9-5 NG has 249,000 km.
The 9-5 has worse GM plastic buttons (started to wear off, as always), but the 9-3 has all original buttons with all original labels. Nothing faded. Also I have no accidents, no rust, no scratches, which is all really unusual for this part of the world. The 9-3 has 1.8t 150bhp turbo, and it's really peppy. And I lvoe the car but would like something a little bigger.
What would you all think? I can provide pics and more stats if needed. Thanks.
So they're asking €9,950 including guarantees, MOT, roadside assistance (which I alreayd have) for the 9-5. I like the car, have done my research on the kentekcncheck.nl (like Carfax in this country) and it comes up clean except for one time MOT failure.
