check engine light and rough idle

i just purchased a 94 900s and inherited a few problems.the check engine light comes on and blinks erraticly after warm up,also after warm sometimes the idle will go up and down some times worse then others sometimes not at all.and the throttle has been known to stick a little when stopping although i havnt had this problem yet.supposedly it was diagnosed as running lean but no further investigation was done.any help would be greatly appreciated.thank you

the obdll sensors that i have seen all say 96 or newer.will they still work on a 94?and are they accurate anddescriptive?

Oh sorry, I forgot about that...you still need to get the code read. Let me find out how to do it on an OBD I car

cool thanks.i did look at a few obd ll sensors today that said they work on 94 and 95 models that are obd ll compatable.but again i'm not sure if that includes my car or not.i should probably take it to a shop but i usually try and fix most of my own cars, pluss i'm too cheap(or broke).thanks again for all your help

Unfortunately I can't find any info on how to check the codes on OBD1. Seems rather strange that the only way to do so would be by a scanner since both my honda and dodge could output codes by blinking a light.Try going to Autozone since they do free check engine light readouts, but I'm not sure if they do OBD1
