Harsh shifting of AT Transmission

Hi,

I am new to to SAAB experience and I have a 92 16v Turbo with an Automatic Transmission. The shift of gears are harsh and the transition to the next gear is not smooth. I have checked the AT Fluid dipstick and they are okay. What should I do?
