Default Antenna

On my 1994 9000 aero turbo the motorized antenna stops at the last five or six inches when going down, the last section of the telescope id imagine...

Just wondering if there is anyway to easily take it apart or check it easily...
or if there is something i can do to fix it.

Thanks
