Ok guys I have a slightly modded 95 saab 900 se that I dick around with as my dd. Yesterday I took it for a seasoned drive 3rd-5th gear pull ending at about 133 mph on the empty tollway. Now when I came back into town, the car made a very odd blow off noise. Instead of the almost turbo xs high pitch squeal it made an almost hks sequential sound. Now I checked all the vacuum lines and all seems to be well and the car is not a MAF car as you can tell when I pull the intake off. Also you saw me risk my arm and the wastegate arm still moves and what not. Also the car still boosts ok. Its so odd that the car is fluttering like that. The only thing I can think of is maybe the cars abc or automated boost controller solenoid went bad? Any thoughts?

if the boost control solenoid went bad than you'd either be making base boost or be spiking to fuel cut...does it feel like the car lost power? Which BOV are you running?

Well it sounds like your wastegate is having problems try to pull vacuumon the wastegate actuator and see if it will hold. Also I have seen where the actual door flap for the wastegate come off the actuator.
