So I am new to Saab's and I bought a 96 900SE turbo a few months ago. Slowly reverse has stopped working. Of course, the guy I bought it from said he put a new transmission in it. So, initially I would put it into reverse and it would seem like there was not enough power to go. Now, the engine revs and the car don't move. Like reverse is not engaging in the transmission. Could this just be the bands need to be adjusted? If so can someone tell me how to adjust the reverse bands on a Saab?

i have the same problem except i am earlier in the reverse failing. it clicks a lot and loss of torque in reverse.
