My friend washed his engine. Shortly after doing this, whenever he pushes the brake, the engine MPH goes way up... just on the speedometer, the speed of the car does not actually increase. Also, the volume on the radio goes way up. Obviously a wire problem. Does anybody know the location and characteristics of the specific wires? Or better yet, anybody know where I can get a wire diagram? Thanks for any help!!!

 

hmm..by chance, is the fuse box under the hood?
