Default 1999 93 SE Turbo

Hello, I was really in need of some help. I have a 1999 93 SE Turbo 100,000 miles. It is in need of a new transmission. The body is in great shape, interior good. Basically the car got towed from a DUI site and the towing company towed it in gear. And since it was a DUI they won't pay for it to be repaired. I am willing to put some cash into the car. I also have bad credit, so that gives me more of an incentive to fix it because I can afford to put money into fixing it. Just a pain getting a loan, Plus I love the body style of this particular car. Should I even bother? What is the ball park for what I'd be spending? Should I just junk it? Is it just going to keep giving me problems? I could really use any advice I can get. Its been a rough 2013. - Ashley
