2000 9-3 viggen clutch
Ill start buy saying im new to this forum. Looking for some guidance for this issue...
I was sitting at a red light. The light turned green and as i was releasing the clutch pedal i felt/heard a pop. Ever since then the feel of my clutch pedal was been VERY different. Prior to this "pop", i would have to smash the pedal to the floor to disengage the clutch. Release the pedal 1/4 of an inch and it started to grab. Now its a total 180....clutch doesnt engage until nearly full pedal release and disengages around 1/4 down travel.
Gears engage perfectly (except for reverse, but that has always been an issue) and the clutch isnt slipping at all.
I just had the clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder/throwout bearing changed and the flywheel machined just under a year ago.
Anyone have any ideas on what may have happed and is this a sign of trouble to come? Or is this just a speed shifting blessing in disguise? Thanks for any/all help!!!
